About ClassicalFix

My name is Tony and ClassicalFix is my Blog.

I’m currently a postgraduate student at The Open University where I’m studying towards an MA in Classical Studies. Over the past few years I’ve researched lots of different topics, mainly focusing on the Roman world, but it’s only recently that I’ve been drawn to my current area of research – Roman gardens. My research focuses on the links between Roman gardens and their effects on health & wellbeing.

I completed my undergraduate degree in history with the Open University and after my MA I have ambitions to embark upon a PhD so that I can take my current research on Roman gardens further. I spend much of my time at the moment researching, but when I’m not reading I’m probably studying Latin. When I’m not doing any of these things, I’m usually watching Netflix or walking my three crazy spaniels.

ClassicalFix is a place to share ideas and hopefully encourage interaction and feedback. If anyone would like to get in touch then please use the contact form on the ‘Contact ClassicalFix’ tab or message me on Twitter @classicalfix.

Best Wishes,
